| Manipur TET Eligibility Details |
Eligibility Conditions:
The persons with the following qualifications are eligible to appear in the State TET:
i. For classes I to V- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
ii. For classes VI to VIII- Graduation with at least 50% marks.
The candidates appearing in the Manipur State TET will be issued a mark-statement by the Board and the candidates security 60% and above marks for general candidates and 50% and above marks for OBC, ST, SC and Physically challenged candidates will be issued TET certificate. Qualifying the State TET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/ employment as is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
Frequency of Conduct of State TET and Validity Period of the Certificate:
The test will be held every year and the validity of the qualifying certificate will be seven years. There will be no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring the state TET certifiate. A person who has qualified State TET may also appear again for improving his/ her score. However, qualifying the State TET would not confer a right an any person for recruitment/ employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
